Terminal Access Road

Wright Construction awarded EHC the Terminal Access Road (TAR) widening project at the Southwest Florida International Airport (RWA) for the Lee County Port Authority. The project consisted of widening the Terminal Access Road to six lanes from Interstate 75 connector to Air Cargo Lane. It included added curbing, signage and markings, lighting, landscaping, permitting and Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) approvals. EHC provided earthwork, subgrade base, finish grading and erosion control for the project which was completed “ahead of schedule and with great coordination,” according to the Lee County Port Authority.
