EHC Announces New and Completed Projects

EHC, a company that specializes in pre-construction, earthwork, and infrastructure work, is pleased to announce the status of several ongoing projects including Clark Road Roundabout, Sandhill Boulevard, The Preserve, and Manasota Key Sidewalk, Lighting & Landscaping.

Over the past year, EHC has been the primary contractor for numerous construction projects throughout Southwest Florida. This fall, the Clark Road Roundabout and Preserve Phase 2 are among the site construction company’s new projects. In addition, The Preserve Phase 1, Sandhill Boulevard as well as Manasota Key Sidewalk, Lighting, and Landscaping have been completed.

Clark Road
Taylor Morrison, one of the nation’s leading homebuilders, is collaborating with EHC on a new project. The Clark Road and Lorraine Road Roundabout project is currently underway. Located in Sarasota County, the project consists of mobilization, clearing, grubbing, grading, excavation, embankment, stabilization and more.

The Preserve (Phase 1 & 2)
Sunshine State Developers Two selected EHC to build the sales center, off-site improvements, for Phase 1 of The Preserve. In Phase 2 of The Preserve project, EHC serves as the Prime Contractor and is contracted to manage the project from start to finish. EHC’s services provided are erosion control, clearing, excavation, finish grading, sub-grade, roadway base, asphalt, striping, base rock, resurfacing, valley gutter, sidewalks, water, drainage, and sewer, sodding, and surveying.

The Preserve is located approximately one mile east of I-75 on King Highway in the Southwest corner of Desoto County. Upon full completion, there will be 922 lots with lakes and green spaces at The Preserve. The 523-acre gated community plans to offer numerous amenities including a clubhouse with a fitness center, swimming pool, tennis courts, fishing, and more.

Sandhill Boulevard
The first phase of the Sandhill Boulevard Project from Kings Highway to Deep Creek Boulevard in Charlotte County has now been completed by EHC. As described by Charlotte County, the project included the construction of additional turn lanes at the intersections of Sandhill Boulevard and Capricorn Boulevard, Sandhill Boulevard and Deep Creek Boulevard, and the reconfiguration of Sandhill Boulevard approach at the intersection of Kings Highway. EHC provided clearing, grubbing, excavation, embankment, subgrade and base groups, drainage and underground utilities, fill, curbing, sidewalk, signage, and pavement markings.

Manasota Key Sidewalk, Lighting & Landscaping
The site construction company was the prime contractor of the Manasota Key Sidewalk, Lighting & Landscaping project in Englewood for the Charlotte County Government. The project included design and the construction of sidewalks, decorative lighting, and landscaping on Gulf Boulevard from the beach parking lot to the entrance of the Stump Pass state park. The scope of work also included traffic control, clearing, grubbing, excavation, embankment, Type B stabilization, sidewalks, driveways, retaining walls, signage, markings, and landscaping.
